While talking about Eraclea, there is a place in Würzburg offering their chocolate, too.
The hot chocolate: One gets a medium sized cup of chocolate, topped with cream. Although the consistency is very soft, the taste is still very intense. So it seems they only mess up the part, where the chocolate is reduced.
The price: Very reasonable 2-3 Euro.
The cafe: Unimposing from the outside, you'll soon find yourself in a real coffee house atmosphere. A large variety of home made cakes are offered.
The location: Google Maps
After Stephan's report I followed his recommendation and went to Cafe Nikolausruhe. In fact it is a very nice cafe, which is worth a visit. I took the dark Eraclea chocolate, which is - as Stephan said - very thick with quite some flavour. But after visiting La Chocolaterie in Leipzig, where the chocolate had the same consistency but more flavour, I was wondering if where was anything added for consistency. In fact the Eraclea guys add starch and guar flour.
